Only one remaining issue and that is a driver for the JMB38X SD/MMC Host Controller. Have done a google search but can't find anything I can trust to be the appropriate Win 10 driver. One site called 'Driver Scape' lists a driver, version no. 1.0.72.4 as Win 10 32bit & 64bit supported but it's release date is! Windows 10 Forums. May 22, 2017  HP have been absolutely useless with helping me on this problem. I notice this is for Device id 0x2382 but mine is Device id 0x2392 which has the same Chip number and Chip description (JMB38X SD/MMC Host Controller) Mine is a bit further down the page but it doesn't have a driver download link just a link to HP for Windows 8 issues. I do understand your concern however, follow the below suggestions and check if it helps.

Method 1: I would suggest you to set the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps. Setting the system in a clean boot state will help to identify if any third party applications/drivers or startup items are causing the issue. Refer the article and check if it helps.

Method 2: Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter and check if it helps.

  • Press Windows and X key together and select ControlPanel.

  • Click on Troubleshooting.

  • Click on Viewall option on the left side of the Windows.

  • Click on HardwareandDevices option.

  • Click on Next and follow the onscreen instructions to troubleshoot the issue.

You may also try installing the latest chipset drivers from the manufacturer's website and check.
