There is seven level of this game and every level is divided into three acts. The main fights are “Boss fight” and “Doctor Eggman battle”. The levels are named as zones in this game, which make the game faster and thrilling. Every zone is based on a fresh theme which is totally different from previous ones. The themes include sugar processing mills, magma caverns, cities, haunted house, theme parks and more.

To pass every zone, the player has to collect rings and win boss fights. Every time you lose a battle or an enemy hits you, you will lose rings which you can earn again. If you’ve no rings and the player lose a battle or attacked by an enemy, he will lose his life and you have to start the game from the very first act.

The more credit you collect, the more life you can earn for your player. Also, you can avail “Beam” boost up and “Mirror” power-up features for Sonic and Tails respectively. These power features will help you to get extra shields and life for your player.
