Touchsmart Tm2 Drivers

Does anyone out there have a solution for the HP tm2 screen orientation problem? The MS compatibility checker did no address this issue. Win 8 works great except for this glaring issue. I feel completely thrown to the curb by both MS and HP. It would be nice if someone has a patch or a suggestion or helpful software for this. The control panel is able to toggle the screen. The sensor on the screen and the button on the side of the screen no longer work. :( :(

screeen rotation and accelerometer on a touchsmart tm2 2050us??? This is pretty cool. Please read.

The driver that rotates the screen on my tm2 stopped working after I installed windows 8. I installed a UI software program that allows me to rotate the screen without having to open up the control panel every time I would like to use the computer as a tablet. This is a pretty bad substitute for a driver fix, but it seems as though neither Microsoft or HP have an interested in providing a fix for this problem (they want me to buy a new computer).

I did install a freeware software accelerometer program that calls data from the data protection hardware (tm2_accelerometer_(x64).exe). It seems to work periodically. When it works, it works well. it usually does not work. I noticed that this software began to work when I placed my hand over HP TrueVision cam and the array of sensors that are next to the camera at the top/side of the screen when the laptop was in tablet configuration. Does anyone know anything about this? I checked all of the drivers, and the OS believes that all of the drivers and hardware are up to date and working properly. It would be great to hear about any ideas that people have concerning this. Thanks!

Windows 10 Upgrade on Old Hp Touchsmart I have an old HP Touchsmart 600 with a touch screen that only supports single-point touch. I was unable to upgrade to Windows 8 because of this. The HP TouchSmart Software - HP makes it hard for you to install it if you install a new operating system I didn't get any answers, but I did get a warning from GeekTieGuy (who I think is one of the developers of the HP TouchSmart software). The TouchSmart tm2-1072nr Notebook from HP (Hewlett-Packard) is built to handle everyday tasks such as browsing the Internet, composing and editing documents, and streaming TV shows and movies. The TouchSmart tm2-1072nr is the next-generation of innovative mobile platforms from HP.

  1. Download the latest drivers for your Hewlett-Packard HP TouchSmart Tm2 Notebook PC. Keep your computer up to date.
  2. HP TouchSmart drivers are tiny programs that enable your Laptop hardware to communicate with your operating system software. Maintaining updated HP TouchSmart software prevents crashes and maximizes hardware and system performance. Using outdated or corrupt HP TouchSmart drivers can cause system errors, crashes, and cause your computer or hardware to fail. Furthermore, installing the wrong HP drivers can make these problems even worse.
